So.. i begin my black copper project with a new male black HM from Liviu



and a female black copper

.

The pair spawned on 12.01.2012 and the female was removed..  

PS. I'm not very good with photos but i will do my best for future presentations..

i like the male (of course, it's from me!) but i really love the female, especially thick dragon layer 
i hope you`ll have many Black Dragon youngsters to choose from them! 

p.s. can you tell us something about the female genetic background?

The female is from a Black HM BF (M) x Black Copper HM (F) spawn.. The mother looks just like this female but unfortunately i lost her to dropsy (i had little experience with betta on that time). The father still lives but is too old. I tried a spawn between him and the daughter but i had no luck.

Update on the spawn :
- the fry have hatched yesterday night. The male is very carefull with the fry. With the another spawns i had , usually the male had some fry on the bottom but this male is scounting very often the bottom of the tank and ALL of the fry are in the nest. I'm very concerned with a possible male depresion so i will let him at least a week in the tank with the fry.
