"Red dragon" and his lady AKA Red Dragon HM+ perechea

Well ... I have decided to breed my dragons ... therefore:

The male:


The female ... later!

He is in a flat plastic box with cover (of course), the only things in there with him being a thermometer and a few leafs of Ceratopteris.

... Which reminds me ... there will be a small leaf of IAL. Now I'm hoping he'll buile a bubble-nest.

Tomorrow morning I will put the female in with him, in the hope that he will build the nest.

... another day, another story!

I have decided that Mr. Dragon is not compatible with Mrs Dragon, therefore ... I took him out and I put Mr. Red-Green instead.

So, the new male:


I had the shock of my life when I found Lady Dragon out of the transparent enclosure, but with a little help from Snakefishmike (he gave me the link to the Attison breeding way), I chilled, and decided to let Mother Nature take her course.

That is ... I will continue to obsess over them, but I will remove either fish ONLY Wednesday, or if I find any of them in bad shape.

... I admit - I am obsessed ! BUT There IS a bubblenest !!!

Update ...

Tuesday morning - Mr. Dragon was dead in his bowl. I have absolutely no idea why.

Also, Tuesday evening, seeing one egg at the top pf the bubble nest, and the female tucked away in a corner of the box, I decided to take her out.

Mr. Red-Green is alone, in a brownish water ... and I am praying for babies!
