They are spawning now. They are both very intense colored...for the moment the female has some eggs in her mouth and  the male is trying to get them...lets hope he will do it. :)

Thanks, lets hope the male will not eat the eggs during the incubation period (about 2 weeks).

Hi robertino,
congratulation. I hope you have luck and get juvelines. But it is possible that the male eat the eggs, when he spawn the first time, and has stress. This problem I had with a lot of first spawns of different mouth breeder. But the second spawn was good. ;D

Well, as i expected, the male ate the eggs...today he came and ate artemia, so for sure the eggs was already eaten. Anyway it was his first time, maybe next time he will be more carefull. :)

Hi robertino,
I hope you have luck the next time. But if it will happen the next 3 attempts also, you have a problem.  Then you need a new male.  For specially in mouth broods, there is do egg eaters that it again and again.  Importantly that the male has very much quiet, and no further stress arises.  Good Luck. ;)
