Judging your betta by show-standards

Hi all,
I will help the betta breeder from this forum. I know a lot of you want to show
his betta on a show in Romania or in one other country. To get more informations
of the quality of your betta and help for the future to get success in shows,
I have spoken with IBC judges from germany, and they want help you. When
you want it, please give me your feedback here.
They need very good pictures of the betta, they must show full flairing and the
judges must see clearly the rays of the finnage, specially from the caudale.
I am waiting for your answers and what you think about it.

from my point of view(and not only mine!), this is a very helpfully idea for us!
in this way, we can know what to improve or maintain to our fish and lines!

Hi Livuli,
of course it is ok for me. The judges make it in german and I translate it in english,
and one must translate it in the romanian language, for the guys which understand
english.
Everybody can post than the betta for this here in the thread, and I copy the picture
than and take them to the judges. But all which want this service need time for
answer. But the very important thing are very good pictures. without this it is not
possible to judge the betta from a picture.

Hi Mike,
no thanks please. I make nothing. I think only the breeders of this forum have great
chances with her fishes in the future. But it is not easy. Special in europe we have
meanwhile I high level of the betta, and it is not easy to have success on shows.
And when nobody know the problem of his fish, what can he make better? Nothing.
For this it is important to take fishes on shows for judgement. When I am back from
hospital I will write more.

Hi together,
when somebody want to show his youngsters or pairs for breeding for judgement
in IBC standard he can post the pictures here. For this service we nedd very good
pictures, where the Betta are full flairing and the judge can see exactly the rays
in the caudale. Without this pictures is a real judgement not possible.
I send than the pictures to a IBC judge and after he give the comment. I will post
it here with the pictures. Livuli or Mihu (snakefishmike) will translate it than for the
members which don´t understand english.

Hi all,
I think it is important to know how good is the quality of your spawns or
breeding pairs. Specially when you want to start with your spawns on
international shows in the future.
